Lia is one of the most effective and respected fashion producers in her native Dominican Republic, where she has performed successful trunk shows for brands such as Johanna Ortíz, Monica Sordo and No Pise La Grama for years.

Prior to her role as a distributor for Latin American brands and event producer, she was the co-owner of the cult magazine Factoría and the editor of trend reports on the New York and Paris fashion weeks for various Dominican magazines.

She is currently an ambassador for the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS) and for high-end global brands such as Cartier.
